Motivational/Personal
Intervention
Coaching and Personal
Growth
Coaching, like counseling, is
professional guidance that facilitates personal growth. Clients seek
coaching because they want to experience change in their lives. They may
have accomplished some degree of success and would now like to take their
lives to the next level -- whatever that may be for them. It may mean
doing more, doing less or finding balance in career, family and personal
life. It could involve a prospective career change, writing a book or
sorting out and addressing personal inhibitions.
The Client-Coach
Relationship
The relationship between the client and
the coach is built on a foundation which the client has already
established. It is a pro-active partnership that allows the client to
approach objectives and goals in a planned, and supportive, manner. This
is a motivational approach established on three principles: personal
resourcefulness, self reliance and positive change. These principals
govern and actualize total-life improvement.
